Ava is a great cat. She is a darling, affectionate and playful 3 year old tabby. She loves to climb up onto your chest to snuggle, get petted and purr, purr purr. The amazing thing about this cat is that she will never wake you up in the morning for food. After spending the night sleeping on your bed with you, she will wait patiently at the bedroom doorway, even if you like to sleep late. The only time she meows is when she hears the cat food can being opened. She loves to be stimulated with cat toys but can also entertain herself with something as simple as a ball of tin foil. Most of the day she will find a place to hang out in the room where you are, but is also content to have her own time sitting on the window sill sleeping or watching the outside world. She has come a long way in her time in foster, and although she can still occasionally get a little mouthy when petted for too long, she is gentle about it and stops immediately when the hands re withdrawn. She understands the word no, and she also understands good morning, breakfast, cat food, supper, treats, and bedtime. She always comes for snuggles at bedtime.
