Baklava was found digging through the garbage on a street in Brooklyn. He ran up to his rescuer enthusiastically, and she looked around for an owner. The tenant of the building came out, and said he's "no one's cat." Baklava rode home in a Lyft that night, purring. He loves being pet and purrs almost on contact. He's very confident and loves to explore his surroundings. Very much a fan of other cats, especially ones close to his age (he has been roughhousing with his foster siblings). Vocal, he will let you know when he's hungry or wants attention -- with the cutest little meows. He's very energetic and loves to play with all types of toys, but also loves his downtime. Baklava is truly a gem and would be perfect in a home with at least 1 other young, playful cat. He's FIV and FeLV negative, neutered, and up-to-date on shots.
