Frankie (female, 3yrs, gray tabby) will be the heart of your home. She will greet you at the door with a chirp, and follow you around as you settle in. When you’re watching TV, she’ll look at you lovingly for minutes on end, until you invite her to join you and then rewards you with cute, chirping noises. Frankie is a calm, affectionate cat, who will do best as a solo cat. After a tough start, Frankie wants to cuddle up with her human and enjoy the sweet life. Frankie was found scrounging around garbage cans, so small and malnourished that the Good Samaritan who rescued her thought she was a kitten (vets estimate she’s anywhere from 1 to 5 years old.). Vet care, an adequate diet, and lots of love in a foster home helped this girl recover and blossom. She is learning about toys and delights in having you play with her (a teaser wand is a favorite.) You can find Frankie looking out the window over her domain, basking in the sunlight, and bringing a calm presence to your home. When the time comes for her supper, it’s a whole different story!
