Martina (aka Katty, aka Marty) came from a backyard in North Bergen, NJ. Marty was letting everyone pet her, and they were going to release her back to the yard, where there was very little care, so she was fostered to see if she could find the loving home she deserves. Her left ear has had frostbite from the last winter. The first month in foster, she was scared, but when she moved to a different home, she blossomed. Maybe it was her name change to Marty, a name she now recognizes. She loves being petted on the head and can be picked up if she feels safe. Marty is friendly with the cats in her foster home, so she can be with other cats. Marty is a great companion cat, for someone who wants company, likes having another being in their home and is okay with a slow pace introduction. Marty loves to watch you, watch TV, look out the window, EAT, play with her mouse toy, and she's mellow and calm. She's still growing in trust, and is young. She's learned how to live in a home over the last 2+ months, and is super neat and polite. What a marvelous young lady she is! Marty is FIV and FeLV negative, spayed, and up-to-date on shots.
