2 years 0 months. Miss Bogart is a stunning young black cat who was rescued off the streets of St. Albans. This classy lady can be cautious at first, but once she knows you won't break her heart, she'll be snuggling up close t you and even sitting on your lap. She loves all the toys, and adores cat trees and window sills. She also enjoys a good conversation, especially around meal times. She gets along with cats and dogs and she can also be the only cat in your home.
Miss Bogart is FeLV negative, but FIV positive. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) is a lentivirus that affects cats worldwide. FIV is contagious only among cats, and, even between cats, it is difficult to transmit (it typically takes a deep cat bite, not the routine contact of living together.)) Being FIV+ does not mean that the cat is sick, only that the cat’s compromised immune system can make him more vulnerable to contracting other diseases. But, with a good diet, a purely indoor life, and regular wellness visits, an FIV+ cat can live a healthy, long life.
She is spayed, and up-to-date on shots. Come see her at Petco Union Square during adoption hours!
