Maxwell: Courtesy Post
Domestic Short Hair
Black and White
3 years 5 months.
Maxwell was living the rough life of a NYC stray, but luckily was part of a regularly-fed colony. When the weather started to get cold, the colony caretakers decided Max should come inside. Good thing for him! It turned out he tested positive for FIV. Indoor cats with FIV can live long, full lives, but the stress of outdoor living, especially extreme cold, could have made Max really sick. Now this beautiful, perfect tuxedo cat, who looks like a teddy bear and acts like a dog, is looking for a nice lap to sit on! He'll greet you at the door when you come home, and hang out with you all night. He gets along fine with other cats. He's a very amiable fellow! Max is FIV positive and FeLV negative. It's important to commit to yearly vet checkups when you have an FIV positive cat, and that will help your cat not get any opportunistic diseases. He's neutered and up-to-date on shots. Email us about this dapper gentleman!
