Georgie showed up at a local colony one day, and his rescuer resolved to trap and neuter him. He kept his distance for the first few days, but the day she set up the trap, he walked right over to her and rolled at her feet! No trap for him! He allowed himself to be picked right up like a sweet little child. Georgie is an overgrown kitten - though he’s around two years old, he still acts like a rambunctious little kitten. He is very energetic with other cats, and will curl up next to them, and then jump on their heads - so he would need to be introduced very carefully to other cats. Georgie has a ton of energy, so if a cat likes to lay around and not run and play or won’t tell him no, they may not be the ideal partner for the little bossy man. He loves to run around the apartment, and to know what you are doing at all times. He can be bossy, and will let you know if he doesn’t want to be held or petted by first squirming away. He will allow pets, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes he begs for more, and always is very clear when he is over it. But then after he’s done being bossy he will literally jump on your lap or next to your head on the couch and pass out for hours, just like a kitten, so all is forgiven. But his future family should probably have had a cat before and be ready for his bouts of high energy, and commit to work with him as he continues to mature, and he will turn into the sweetest little man. He’s very curious, and is usually hanging out in the kitchen as you cook. He's always trying to figure out what you're up to. He also LOVES the shower. Literally, the second the water turns on, he runs to the shower, and sit on the rim the bathtub, between the inner curtain and the side of the bath. Georgie needs another cat to spar with. He's FIV and FeLV negative, neutered, and up-to-date on shots.
