Matilda is named because she was the small and spunky one of her litter. She’s extremely playful and rambunctious, and needs to go to a home with at least one other cat – otherwise her outgoing personality may turn her into a kitty dictator! Matilda is always running around her rescuer's apartment, and loves to interact with the other cats and the dog. It’s quite common to turn around and see Matilda right there – whether cleaning, sitting on the couch, cooking in the kitchen…Matilda is usually right there. She’s very curious and energetic, and a little sweetheart that needs other cats to help get out her energy! When first rescued she had an issue with her right eye. The ASPCA diagnosed it as a corneal ulcer. Her eye therefore never healed, and her third eyelid is protruding and the eye underneath is milky. It does not hinder her at all, as she’s still as energetic and all over the place as you would expect a kitten to be! Matilda is the prototypical kitten – curious, playful, energetic, and then a little purr machine that will curl up next to you on the couch or bed to take a quick nap, before she wakes up and starts attacking a toy mouse or running somewhere to see what is going on elsewhere in the apartment.
